Here’s a little info that may help:
Casual but Always Aiming Higher
We’re not a top-flight team; but are instead focused on enjoyable cricket, along with always aiming to enhance skills – and results.
Nets and matches
We hold weekly nets in Discovery Bay, Lantau, with advice and training by Head Coach Nilesh Jhaveri.
We also play matches against teams around Hong Kong. And there are tours to other nearby places.
Especially afterwards, these are also social events, accompanied by drinks, meals etc – a chance to make and cement friendships.
Skills required
While it’s great when we get new players who are experienced cricketers, we are also open to beginners and would-be cricketers – with coaching from the basics onwards.
Kit required
For nets in Discovery Bay, we provide all cricket kit other than abdominal guards, aka boxes: ie bats, gloves, pads, helmets, along with arm guards and thigh pads. For matches, the team kit bag tends to stay in Discovery Bay, so while it is possible to borrow gear from other players, over time it is best to buy your own

Membership
If you’re interested in joining the Club, you are welcome to join us for a few net sessions, along with perhaps a match – covering the basic costs for these.
After which, there is an annual subscription, which includes nets, matches and use of the kit during nets; while also ensuring the Club can pay bills such as for membership of Cricket Hong Kong, China – the sport’s local governing body.
